Luzhoulaojiao

Established in 1573, Luzhou Laojiao, the century-old Chinese Baijiu maker, is one of China’s oldest, and most well-known Baijiu brands. Situated in Sichuan province – known as the hometown of Chinese Baijiu – Luzhou Laojiao is a large brewing backbone group developed from 36 ancient workshops that began working during the Ming and Qing dynasties hundreds of years ago. Boasting brewing techniques refined across 23 generations of continuous operations, Luzhou Laojiao is a keeper of cultural heritage, making it an indisputable pioneer of Chinese Baijiu culture. Luzhou Laojiao is a complex, premium baijiu of the “strong aroma” class. It is a strongly alcoholic (more than 50% alcohol), clear liquid with a sharp aroma of fermented peaches. It is fermented in old cellars (fermentation pits), whose walls are coated with a unique clay composition that gives the spirit its aroma and palate.
